My Advocacy this Quarter

Image
Hello. This is an update from my blog regarding my campaigning. I advocate for improving children's reading and comprehension skills since, due to low understanding, many children nowadays are unable to comprehend even simple sentences or texts. Additionally, my advocacy runs a weekly session to maintain the kids' reading comprehension. This is the poster of my advocacy. I created this for my week 2 activity in my ET subject. A concept paper is another assignment that we must complete for our advocacy. In addition, our teacher said that there's a potential they may use my advocacy to run this kind of program if our advocacy is realistic. Here is the example below. ----------------------------------------------------- 1. Project name Reacquainting Children with Reading 2. Introduction Our short program is to teach grade one students how to read again and there will be a reward system for those students who will excel in this program. 3. MY SCHOOL DAYS

Image
Hi, my name is Noah Cruzem and this is my life as a Humss Student. I used to think that being a senior high student meant that I had to spend my whole life working on school assignments, but I soon discovered that, with careful time management, I could still find plenty of time for myself. I always give myself a deadline by which I will do each assignment for school, one at a time.  Regarding my time at school, I like talking to my classmates, consuming a lot of food at the food stands, and exploring the expansive school grounds. There have been times when I've wondered about what college life will be like and what will happen to me, but I force myself to stop thinking about those things and focus on the here and now. I'm a senior in high school, but I know that in the next years, I'll be attending college, so for now, I'm just trying to enjoy myself. I have this quote that "Our currency in life is time. So spend it wisely". #pcuxhumani...

THE PASSION OF CYCLING

Image
Cycling is one of my coping mechanisms in life. I have experimented with a variety of bikes, but I have chosen to stick with fixed gear cycling. Even though this type of bike doesn't have brakes, once it starts to pedal, it gains speed and momentum. Some people claim that riding this type of bike is risky, but I believe that riding one can be safe as long as you use it responsibly. I enjoy riding my bike because of the places I can go, not because of how fast I ride. I always feel free to express my potential in anything, including riding a bicycle.  My bike serves as a means of transportation as well as an additional source of fitness. It enhances not just my endurance but also my core strength and stamina. When we start riding it, there are still perks even though it's not your typical bike. like Sarah Bentley says, "you are one ride away from good mood". #pcuxhumanista

DEDICATION FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

Image
I decided on HUMSS because I envision myself working as a teacher in the near future, educating and mentoring the next generation for a brighter future. I find humss fascinating since it focuses on human behavior and helps me get better at communicating. I constantly give my best in my studies, not because I want to pass but rather because I want to help and mentor my future pupils, to lead the next generation to a nicer and better life. I want the next generation to be prepared for this world, able to weigh their own interests and what is safe for them. Like Bob Talbert says "teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching what counts is the best". #pcuxhumanista
